Racial Justice Fund

Down

In keeping with our ongoing commitment to combat systemic racism, Queens has established a Racial Justice Fund to support initiatives and programs that promote diversity, inclusion, and equity, and further the discussion about racial justice in America.

Queens students and staff will use these funds to increase cultural competency through programs and activities that expand awareness, attitude, knowledge, and skills. This includes bringing diverse speakers to campus, hosting trainings on effective individual and group dialogues, holding town halls, and organizing educational trips to off-campus museums, exhibits, and venues to learn more about the history of slavery and civil rights.

We know there is much work to be done and firmly believe this fund will be critical in continuing that work. Queens is committed to giving members of its campus community the tools, space and support they need to enact lasting change.
